Mountain Words Festival

I'm Wendy Videlock and I'm a writer, poet, teacher and visual artist living in Palisade.  We've lived in the Grand Valley for 30 years.  I'm currently serving as poet laureate of the Western Slope and would like to see poetry become part of all yoga festivals and practices.  My poems and essays appear widely, most notably in Oprah Magazine, New York Times, Hudson Review and elsewhere.  My books are available wherever books are sold.  My visual art is featured in galleries across the Grand Valley. I believe the arts, which include yoga and the healing arts, might just be the answer to all that ails us.  My husband and I began our wellness journey three years ago.
